The Worst Trend Ever on Bubblews

The worst ongoing trend that you will see all the time during your time at Bubblews starts with this word, "connected." This issue is completely out of control even though it has been discouraged and can possibly get your account deleted. Many people join the site and go around just connecting to all kinds of people but guess what, those people do not have to connect to you and often-times the older, veteran and more seasoned members will not join you. Running around and just connecting is futile and even worse is just writing on someone's profile page that you have done so. When many members see this, they automatically delete your message and just look at you as just a spammer.

How does one get noticed on Bubblews?

1) Quality Posting---Make lively posts that people want to read; they can be encouraging, engaging, entertaining, fun-filled, informative, etc......

2) Follow/connect with people that you enjoy reading.

3) Leave great comments so that people will want to come and find you (and guess what they will).....

Do not put any links in your comments. It is against the rules to try and solicit views, links, likes and or comments. If you place a link in the comment section on someone's post, it appears that you are trying to get them or other commenters to click on your link and this is prohibited. 

The best way to get noticed is to create blog posts of quality and to comment in ways that make people notice you. If you build your own personal platform of quality, the connections, the likes, the comments and the people will indeed come. I am living proof of that!

The Worst Thing You Can Do On Bubblews

The absolute WORST thing you can do on Bubblews if you really want to start making some money is to copy online content. The character count requirement is so low that even a 4th or 5th grade English speaker could do it. For all International folks, the posts must be in English but it is really a low threshold (400 characters) for starting to make money online. It is a huge global community so there are many people all over the world using this portal to make money!

There are many members who are steadily reporting cheaters everyday (in addition to the admins deleting them) and one of the easiest things to check for is plagiarism. There are many tools online that will allow you to check and find the original source. (See below!)

I just wanted to give an update on the wonderfully paying Bubblews as well as a tip as well. If you are new to this site, Bubblews is a site where you can write blog posts and get paid. You can write just about anything you want and start getting paid!

UPDATE:

Just posted an article over on Bubblews related to how to be a better bubbler, which in essence, means how to be a better community member.

Why is this important? The idea behind this particular social blogging platform is that you participate, interact and become part of their community. The members support each other by visiting, viewing, liking and commenting on their posts.

The keys to becoming a good (community) member are easy:

1) Post quality content: With such a low threshold required for content (400 characters), you want to make sure that what you do put up makes sense, is interesting (people will want to read it) and is your own original work.

2) Show some love: Connect with other quality members, like and leave great comments (don't follow the bad trend of copying and pasting generic comments around like "nice post" or "good work." Many people get very angry when they have just written about an emotionally devastating situation and then they see someone's comment that says, "Nice post." Clearly, the person did not read the post so why bother leave a comment.")

Looking for Bubblews tips, well here is a fairly new one. You can only "like" 5 of another users' posts per hour. Now, there is a pop-up that will alert you to this, so you do not have to worry about making this mistake. However, when many members see many bubblers liking many posts in the span of a few minutes, most assume that you are not really reading their posts and they may not take you seriously. Some people may mistake you for a spammer and you wouldn't want that!

To avoid all of this, just don't "like" too many in a short span of time.

My Bubblews tip/ advice/2 cents: Read a few of your connections' posts and then move to the next one. There are many posts to read, people to meet and enjoy....Don't get stuck!

DON'T WRITE MISLEADING TITLES

Don't Resort to Silly Tricks!

It may seem cool to get great views from writing provocative or suggestive post titles. I have seen a few of these blog posts recently featured on the front page of Bubblews, but it's a cheap way to get people to view your work.

Stick to writing good content and think of attention-grabbing titles that match your post. You don't have to trick anyone to read your work. Decent quality posts get read. Go for even better quality and you might just start going viral on the site and garner a following.

You do not want a poor reputation or to be known as one who uses cheap titles to get views. You're better than that and trust me, the more you write, the better you will get. There are also many sites and writers online who are willing to give you lots of FREE advice about how to write great titles, so don't look for poor tricks that may ultimately get you in trouble or make people want to avoid you like the plague.

TIP 3: Write interesting and eye-catching titles but don't go the way of the sleazy......

When you join Bubblews....okay, I'm being presumptuous that if you are reading this that you are either already a member or you are thinking about becoming a member of Bubblews soon.

If you are thinking of becoming a member, do it. You have nothing to lose. Instead of just wandering around the internet  and surfing for free, you can spend some of your time on Bubblews and start earning. It's easy to join but also easy to mess up.

There is uncontrollable issue on Bubblews with people running around and asking people to connect or letting others know that they have connected, stay away from this practice. It's annoying and against the terms (which you should definitely read). It could also cost you your account. So many people are doing it, you could think that it's okay to do it. I have even seen people commenting on blogs that they have connected. This is a questionable and prevalent problem on the site. Don't fall for this and don't do this.

Build connections that right way by following people you like and enjoy reading their work. I have written more on the topic of connections here:

TIP:
You do not need to run around and tell everyone that you have connected to them. They will see your name in their comments (when you respond to their posts) and they will connect to you if they like. Most older members ignore and delete comments that say "connected" on their profile so don't do this!

The beauty of social blogging on Bubblews is that you only have to write at least 400 characters. That's 400 characters and not words. You can write about anything. Some people use it as a diary. Some use it to write out their problems. Some use it to share their expertise in a particular area or as a training guide to improve their writing and/or their English. There are a lot of English Language Learners on the site so be forewarned.

The above paragraph has a total of 440 Characters. This is an easy entry that could appear in a Bubblews Post! This example shows you how easy it is to get started writing and earning online!

Most people get Social Blogging confused!

What is Social Blogging?

Social Blogging is a platform where you can write blogs or articles and interact in a social manner. It is not a formal blog but one that is comparable to a social network where there is a true variety and diversity of information, culture and people learning, growing and sharing in a community. The hard-core rules of writing, language and grammar do not necessarily apply.

Bubblews is such a community that also shares the revenue made with its members at a 50/50 split creating a Facebook-like environment where you can share and learn with people all over the world. You can even invite friends and family to join you and get paid for the things you would normally do online for free.

What Bubblews is NOT!

It is not a content farm, meaning you are not just churning articles or posts for pay or for a buck or two.

It is not a hard-core serious writing site. The motto is "write your world" which you can do within reason, of course. There are many who write about their day, what they eat, what they do, their errands, their kids and that's okay because there is room for all of that.....just like on Facebook. The only and BIGGEST difference between Bubblews and Facebook is that Bubblews will share the revenue that they share with those who use the site. Facebook will not do that. Bubblews pays you for your thoughts and interaction.

Now, I'm not knocking Facebook, you can network, run your business, buy ad space and keep up with family and friends but for the millions that just get on their to chat or surf. You may as well find a site that will allow you to do that and SHARE THE REVENUE. Why not?

It's been a long time since I updated this blog but I am ready to begin some type of regular posting here. It's hard balancing an online and offline life but it can be doable! At least, I think so, with reasonable goals....

Regarding Bubblews: I am still on the site and it continues to pay, so if you are interested in social blogging, this site does give you a beginning and a start into the world of blogging. It also provides a way to begin a writing practice or discipline on a regular basis. The site has an increased redemption threshold of $50, up from $25 but it's manageable. If you write on a regular basis and interact consistently, it will provide you with a nice tidy sum of an extra income. Some people who put in regular (full-time, 8 hours a day) hours are making $800 and up every month.

The Unofficial Guide to Social Blogging on Bubblews

Bubblews: Basic Rules (More than reasonable and easy to follow)

1) Write your own Content. No plagiarism allowed. Don't copy anything that does not belong to you (words or images, period).

2) Don't try to shortcut or undercut the system by cheating with traffic exchanges, IP manipulation or joining with people who want to share likes and/or comments and such....

3) Do not submit posts with mostly pictures and no real texts (words). On this site, words are cherished and the minimum is definitely doable!

4) Write a minimum of 400 characters (around 120-130 words). There are a ton of character counter tools online or in MS Word or Google Docs. Here's an easy and popular one here that you can use to count your characters:

5) No Porn! This is a family site! Save it for your adult sites, if that's your flavor....

6) Posts are required to be in English! Be careful with translators as they are not always reliable.

7) Do not post affiliate or referral links period in your posts, comments, on others' profile pages period.

8) Do not post any "solicitor" links in your comments to other people in an attempt to get them to view (like or comment on) your posts. Bubblews doesn't like solicitation of any kind.

9) Writing anything about being connected or just connected or connect back unto someone's profile is a highly frowned upon and discouraged (yet viral) practice on Bubblews. Stay away from this!

10) Refrain from continual writings of redemptions. We all like to know that others are getting paid but some people create a series of posts around the idea of redeeming and how much until redemption and being scared of redemption (just too much thinking, talking, wondering and asking about redemption----It all has been discouraged by Bubblews Admin!)

For those who are not, there are a couple of groups. There are those who are waiting for their accounts to be checked and verified. I don't know why your payment is delayed. Please be patient, I do believe that +Bubblews support is working hard and diligently through as many of these accounts as they can. Then there is another group, who knowingly or unknowingly are breaking rules and running around this site and the internet complaining and calling+Bubblews a scam. +Bubblews is not a scam but they do expect that you follow all of the rules (period)."
