Worth Ethic Inspiration

Worth Ethic or Work Ethic

I read a funny headline today that stated,

"Charlize Theron's Worth Ethic Inspired by Immigration."

Theron's worth ethic was inspired by immigration?

Clearly this wording had to be a typo so I read further into the article and sure enough, the author was discussing her WORK ethic and how she became driven (and ambitious) because of her immigrant status in Hollywood. Without any friends or family, Theron, who hails from South Africa, discussed that her motivation came from wanting to "pay her bills and not having to work a second job, especially with no support system" in the US. Okay, that seemed reasonable and easy enough......but I just couldn't stop thinking of that notion of a "worth" ethic.

I took that typo-ed title as a cue for me to imagine what it would mean to have a "worth ethic." What would one of those look like?

A work ethic usually entails working hard and persevering. It usually speaks to one's sense of character, of being responsible, of having integrity and having a strong sense of responsibility.

Now, let's dissect what it would mean to have or to develop a worth (or worthy) ethic.
Worth is often thought of as having value.
When we think about feeling worthy, we (can) attribute this value to ourselves, we can affirm that we, as human beings, have value (just because). It has nothing to do with who we are or what we have. I think of being worthy like this, because you and I were born, we are worthy; because we are here, we are worthy (period).

Ethic or ethics has to do with the way something is governed. It has to do with a set of principles, rules or conditions that one may follow or live by. Merriam Webster defines it as a set of moral principles or a guiding philosophy. I like the last part about a guiding philosophy. Think about a guiding philosophy that we could carry around about ourselves, about being and feeling worthy, or feeling valuable and having a knowing that we have something worthwhile to give or contribute to the world. I wonder if people would be able to see that in us as we go about our everyday lives. Would they remark about how we had an awesome worth ethic? Would they talk about how they could tell how good we felt about ourselves (just by looking at us) and how good they (even) felt just from being around us? I wonder what they would be able to sense or feel about how we navigated the world. I wonder, what kinds of people and experiences we would attract? How much fun would we (all) be having in our everyday lives?

Hey, there's nothing wrong with being recognized as a person with a strong work ethic; I just wonder what it would feel like or be like to be known as someone with a strong or desirable worth ethic!

Go and Get Inside of Your Vortex!

Inspirational Material by Abraham Hicks

Video by Abraham Hicks Fan (YouTube)

Content by Abraham via Esther Hicks

Vortex:

Your "vortex" as described by Abraham Hicks is the place where you are connected to your Source Energy and/or Being (you may call this God, Universe, Creator). So when the vortex is described, it is all about alignment and your connection to something Higher. When you are in your vortex, you are in alignment with who you really are.

Great Highlights focusing on the feeling that you can conjure when thinking about, feeling or being in the"vortex" start at 17:35.

"I love the feeling of the vortex.

I like feeling good.

I like knowing my power.

I like feeling clarity.

I like feeling frisky.

I like feeling fun.

I like feeling/doing well.

I like rendez-vousing with good things.

I like having good timing.

I like the feeling of contentment.

I like the feeling of passion.

I love a feeling of satisfaction.

I love a quiet moment."

A Prayer for This Community

A Prayer for this Community
Inspired by Mastin Kipp

Dear Creator,
Please bless this community with abundance today.
Not just abundance of wealth, but the abundance of Spirit.
May we see the infinite abundance that is at our fingertips.
May we see that abundance, not just as money, but as abundant opportunities to serve others, to guide others, to inspire others and to lend a helping hand to those in need.
May we learn the power of small steps and tiny habits.
May we take just one small step towards the direction of our dreams today.
May we embrace each day with ease and love and joy.
May we seek our inner spirit and being, where you reside and nudge and encourage and love.
May we realize that we are worthy, loving and deserving human beings.
May we spread so much light that we hurt our own eyes.
May we love for the sake of loving and give for the sake of giving.
May we trust that we have all been endowed with something awesome that only we can give and share with the world.
May all of your steps today be inspired and inspiring!
And So It Is!
Amen.

Intentionally Creating Magic

User Friendly Inspiration: Magic

"I am segment by segment realigning with who I am so that magic happens every time!" ~Abraham Hicks

Segment Intending Definition by Abraham Hicks:

"I recognize right now where I stand, which is where all of my power is, that I have a set of intentions for here and now and because I want to make the most of this moment which is me meeting source, me meeting my time/space reality.....I'm going stop right now and align with that which I really want."

We often forget that we are the creators of our lives, but also of our days, of our hours, of our minutes and of our seconds. With segment intending, we get to practice the thoughts that serve us well versus acting unconsciously on automatic, just responding to life. We can decide before we walk in to any situation how we would like for that interaction to work. We can take a moment to think about it, to have some kind of intention about it, instead of just bulldozing in and throwing ourselves directly into the fray or chaos. If we believe that we create our lives with our thoughts, it makes sense to take a moment to set a positive thought-wave toward that which we actually do want. This can also be thought of as taking a moment to align ourselves.

How do we want our mornings to look? Our afternoons? Our days, our weeks? How about our lives? It starts from within and it starts with our thoughts.

My intention with this post is to share with you how I'm making a new and exciting change in my life and that you can too, through the practice of segment intending (if you so choose). My goal is to create more "good" feelings and moments throughout the day everyday. I want to take the time to focus my thoughts on creating the amazing life I want during as many events as I can throughout the day. These events make up our days. These events make up our lives, Our routines, our interactions, our phone calls, our relationships, our work, our projects.....this is the substance of our lives. Basically, my plan is become more intentional in my thoughts and actions.

I hope that my words serve as an inspiration, a spark, or a balm, or solution or an idea for you. I am choosing to pre-pave, to alert myself and remember that in every single moment I have a choice. In every situation, I can walk in with an intention for good. I can choose to feel good. I can choose how I would like for each event of my day to go. This can be easy and I won't regulate it as another thing to do on my to-do list but as a reminder that I can take a breath before everything. I can take a moment and think, "This is gong to be great. This (_________---you fill in the blank--) can be mutually beneficial and wonderful for both of us." It can be as simple and deciding and making a choice to feel good, to desire good and to "beat the drum" of how I would like for my life to go, of how I would like for my moments to go. We can do this before any new activity, interaction, discussion, phone call or at any point during the day. We can create a new "intentional" habit.

Right now, I'm hoping and intending that you are being encouraged as I type these words. My intent is to remind you that you are indeed a creator and you are here to live the most amazing life that you can (and beyond what you can) imagine. My intent is to awaken in you and me the power that we have to create. We are makers! We are charged with love, joy, potential and capabilities! Let's focus on that! As Abraham says below, "I want our time here together to be uplifting for you and for me."

The power of directing your thoughts leads to the creation and the direction of your life!

I have included this YouTube video by Z. Zeahorse on the process of segment-intending from Abraham Hicks to help you learn more about segment-intending and how it can possibly benefit you.

Lastly, I hope this post serves as another opportunity or possibility to live as fully as you possibly can. If you decide to do this (or if you already practice this), I would love to hear more about how you incorporate this kind of deliberate intent into your life in the comments below.

So much more to come.......

Inspired by Abraham Hicks: Be Easy

©2015 Beaufly

It is so important for all of us to be easy with ourselves, not beat up on ourselves for things that we think we should be doing, or goals that we think should have been achieved by now or long ago.

©2015 Beaufly
The important thing to do is appreciate yourself where you are right now, in this moment, living, breathing and enjoying this very beautiful moment, that is now.

©2015 Beaufly

We can choose to live in the past or be frustrated by what our eyes see right now OR we can choose to create a good feeling and turn our mind's gaze unto all that is RIGHT in our lives right now (as this is truly what is creating our future).

One of the Greatest: Wayne Dyer!

One of the greatest inspirational and motivational thought leaders, speakers and writers of our time, Dr. Wayne Dyer, passed away last Saturday and I will be featuring some of his quotes on this blog.

I have been deeply inspired and enlightened by him and his teachings of love, forgiveness and growth for many years. I can remember being about 19 years old and venturing out one day after reading a passage from his book, Your Erroneous Zones. That section had something to do with being open and willing to the many possibilities that life can offer you. On that day, as I walked on Lake Michigan and thought about my life, I remember meeting a fly fisherman, who I ended up spending a little time with and he taught me a little about how to cast the rod and fly-fishing, in general. I have never fly-fished since that day but I let my guard down and was open to what turned into a wonderful learning experience and opportunity for me.

I ask you,
What can you open yourself up to on this day?

"What you think of me is none of my business."
~Wayne Dyer

I think this quote basically sums up that everybody else's noise, negativity and comments should be kept at bay and not disrupt or negate any part of our lives in any way ever! Your opinions of me, your thoughts of me and your negativity is really none of my business. Thank you Wayne Dyer for all you offered and gave to us! Your work lives on and through us!

Are you in the right mindset to make money?

Photobucket

Having the right mindset is a key ingredient to making money on and offline. It all starts in the mind. Who are you? Who do you surround yourself with? What do you spend your free/me time on? Like with anything, you must begin to allow your mind to be still, open and conscious. Do you know that you are an infinite being or do you live believing, feeling and thinking of yourself as finite. Open up to the possibilities that you (just) might already have all of the answers that you are looking for inside of you.

Some tools that may help you on your journey:
