Money Experiment

Update:
The Invisible Money Experiment has started again in 2020. Please see below how you can join the new and improved version.

======================================

7 Day Money Experiment

I love Law Of Attraction (LOA) and money experiments that help us to go beyond our logical minds and tap into our ultimate source, that helps us to vibrate at a higher level. I know that some people may disregard LOA as to “woo-woo” or "too out there" but I believe in keeping an open mind. Pam Grout is an inspirational and travel author who has written a couple of books on these kinds of experiments which help you to open your mind to the splendor and variety of possibilities.

This particular experiment crossed my path via Catherine Behan and she explores the idea of invisible money. Invisible money is money/currency that comes to you when you are aligned. Alignment is about being in tune, being connected to your Inner Being, your Source (God, Creator, the Universe). According to Behan, when we are aligned, we become more relaxed, calmer, more pleasant and hence, we begin to attract more pleasant and desirable experiences, people, ideas (and money).

The 7-Day Money Experiment is designed to help us realize the many ways money can come to us ( it could be in the form of a coupon, gifts--receiving something for free, any money that comes to us unexpectedly or out of the blue---something Ming Chee calls "Blue Money"). The beauty of this trial is its simplicity (making it easy to include in our real, everyday lives). It basically has 3 steps:

1) Set an intention to become aware of and leverage invisible money.
Say it aloud or write it down and feel it and then leave it.
"I intend to become aware and leverage invisible money."

2) Record Everything:
Write down all instances of invisible money (freebies, coupons, unexpected cash, found money, unexpected gifts etc...) that comes your way for a 7 day period, starting today (Wednesday, March 7, 2018) and write down the value, its monetary amount (its worth) ----so for example, if I received a free coffee, it usually costs $3.62, I'd write, Wednesday, 3/7:  "free coffee, $3.62" and would continue everything else that came my way for the day and continue this list and process for the next 7 days.

If you miss a day or forget a day, don't sweat it, just start over, it's only 7 days. Have fun and record!

3) The Why Questions using Afformations:
Based on Noah St. John's book, "Afformations." He asks us to turn challenges or issues into solution-based why questions.

According to Behan, The simplest way to put this idea into action is to just spend the next 7 days, using the following generic/general Why questions as a mantra:

  • Why is everything getting easier?
  • Why is this so easy for me?
  • Why is everything getting easier and easier for me?
  • Why am I having such an easy time of it?
  • Why is everything so easy for me today?

The "Why is it so Easy" mantra helps to focus the mind on ease and that's it- that's the full enchilada!

There are no guarantees of what you will or won't find or how much you will or won't get. Just try it and let's start having fun recording our results. After this posting, I will set the above intention and I'll be recording my daily results, stating the above afformations. My hope is that several others will join me in the fun!

Definitions:
alignment: being in a physical, felt state of ease, peace and relief, a state that makes you a more powerful and desirable being; being in tune with your higher self, inner being, God, Creator, Source....

invisible money:  the currency/money or gifts that you may receive once you become more aligned on a daily basis; when you are aligned, you become more relaxed, pleasant and desirable—— and you will begin to attract these types of people, situations, ideas and even more money and/or gifts to you.

Will you join me?
Let's have some fun!
Because I believe that all aspects of life should be fun!

1) Learn to Save Pay yourself first. Put one tenth aside.
2) Get your finances in order. Create a budget.
3) Invest: Start small and make your money work for you.
4) Guard your Treasures: Don’t get caught up in “get rich schemes.” Don’t get sidetracked into thinking that you can become wealthy super quickly. Protect yourself from “tricky” investments.
5) Own your dwelling (house). Buying responsibly (if you can afford to do it can have long-lasting benefits).
6) Give thought and action to future days so that you will have money available in later days. Make sure to provide for yourself and family as you age.

2 Sites You Need to Frequent if You Shop Online (2)

This post is part two of my series concerning the 2 sites you need to frequent (and use) if you are shopping online.

The first one (E-bates) is described and discussed here:
http://bit.ly/1DkHLfk

This site allows you to earn cash back (payable to PayPal) for things that you are (or may be) buying online anyway. It's a win-win. There's nothing to lose!

The second site that I use all of the time for Amazon GC's is Swagbucks.

Now, don't get me wrong, you can save up your swagbucks and get reimbursed for cash via paypal (which I used to do) but for me, on this site, I look for immediate gratification and because I can cash-out for Amazon gift certificates rather quickly, without much effort; I go for it and it makes me HAPPY!

Now, Swagbucks has many ways for you to earn on the site.

  • Daily polls (worth 1 buck daily)
  • NOSO (no cost, special offers, worth 2 bucks daily for clicking through)
  • Using the search engine (change over and use their search engine exclusively and earn bucks or just use the search engine regularly for random bucks)
  • Watch videos and earn (daily)
  • Sign up and play games (earn daily)
  • Check your Swagbucks e-mail and find things to read, view, do and act on (and earn daily)
  • Complete surveys (and earn daily)
  • Last but not least, SHOP and earn various amounts of swagbucks for tons of retailers and earn, earn and earn more and more swagbucks!!!!! (Once again, I think this strategy works best for things that you are already purchasing online!)

I have not touched on all of the ways that you can earn swagbucks that can lead to gift cards or cash because there there are just so many more ways including the free codes Swagbucks constantly gives you to help you build up your bank as well.

I have found this site to be a fun (and most importantly, EASY) way to earn and gain Amazon GCs (which is a huge bonus for me because I'm an avid Amazon and book-shopper).

If you haven't, joined this site all ready, I urge you to add it to your arsenal to enhance your experience online and to help you save some bucks! What's not to love about that?

You have nothing to lose, it's completely FREE to join, and you have everything to gain---think money and/or gift cards! http://bit.ly/swagme

Do yourself a favor and add this one to your life! Use it for yourself or for others (many people use it to reduce their holiday shopping costs).

You can do it and add a benefit to all of the time that you spend online!

2 Sites You Need to Frequent if you Shop Online

2 Sites You Need to Frequent
 (Part 1)

http://goo.gl/aQz3tI

There are 2 sites that are my go-to sites that I go through before shopping online.

Why? To earn cash or points toward a GC!

I have to admit that I do have a preference and that's cold, hard cash.

For earning cash back online, E-bates offer great percentages back for items that you would normally shop for anyway online. I just earned $17 that will be payable to my PayPal account in a couple of weeks. This particular item was purchased through Kohl's which pays a whopping and wonderful 6% back from E-bates.

It's really simple to use!

1) You sign up: http://goo.gl/aQz3tI

2) You shop and you earn.

It is 100% FREE to join! No fees, no catches or fine print.

I have added the bookmarklet to my computer so I can be alerted when I'm browsing a site where I can possibly get an additional discount for shopping.

What's great about E-bates as well is that it generates the promo codes that may be available online or advertised (so it takes on a double duty----you no longer have to search the web for additional promo codes for your items, E-bates does it for you.

For me, this site is no brainer, you have nothing to lose and more money in your pocket to gain!

Let's shop smarter! Go ahead and check out E-bates and let me know how you like it. I can't wait to see you in the comments.

Stay Tuned for the Next Site (part 2) that will be coming up in the next 48 hours!

The Journey to Making Money Online

When you are first looking to learn online. Start with the first step! As Lao Tzu stated, "The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step."

Pakorn via freedigitalphotos.net

The first step is simple. Making your first dollar; your first five, ten and so on.....online doesn't have to be painful but it does takes some patience and perseverance.

Don't get discouraged and have fun while you learn. The internet is full of opportunities and scams. The possibilities are endless but start small and slowly grow in an area that you feel comfortable in. It could be doing surveys. It won't make you rich but it's a start. It may be writing. You could provide content via your own blog, website or write for others. You could freelance. Some folks design logos, websites or provide all kinds of images for people who are seeking them.

Then there is a whole world of selling: being an affiliate (taking a commission to help sell other people's stuff) or selling your own wares (selling on sites that help you sell your own things). The key is tapping into things that you do well or best. Below, you will find a few sites to get you started:

Easy Survey Site that Pays Fast:

Easy Referral Site:
Sign up for 1.0 in offers and then ask others to do the same and earn $25 per Referral (this site is paying $27 per Referral): http://bit.ly/prizes4unme
